On our day 2 trip. After enjoying the buffet breakfast at our hotel. Our first destination was Rua de S. Tiago da Barra, Macau where A-ma temple is situated. We took a bus going there from the bus stop at Vasco de Gamma just in front of our hotel. We took bus #18.
How to go to A-Ma Temple
This post is part of our trip in Macau. For the complete itinerary, check out this link here: Macau itinerary
Holding our map, we were on the lookout what streets we were passing by. Street signs in Macau are displayed on buildings. There were times we miss the street signs, cause the building where the street sign is are too far to be read.
The bus stop going to A-ma is a few steps from away from it. I remember just depending on the street sign. It is near the Maritime Museum, which is the only marker I remember. I actually didn’t even notice the temple which is just in front of my eyes, hehe.
What to See
We went on A-ma Saturday morning. There were a few Chinese people inside the temple. There isn’t much to see, so we basically just spent like 15 min touring the place. Oh, also there’s a bathroom in there, in case you guys need one.
Where to stay
For our trip to Macau, Jeff and I reserved a room at Hotel Royal Macau, which is just in walking distance from most of the tourist spots in Macau, including Macau Casinos (Grand Lisboa, The Wynn), Vasco de Gama Plaza, and Guia Fort.
