Wow Philippines - The Philippine Flag at PMA

Ive been to Baguio so many times already, but I have only been at PMA (Philippine Military Academy) this March. For some reason, Jeff doesnt want to go there. He must have had bad experiences there that he wouldnt want to tell me. Haha just kidding. Actually one of the reasons he doesnt want to go there is that it’s pretty far from the town proper, it’s a good 45 minutes drive from the town.

How to go to Philippine Military Academy

From the town, we went to the jeepney station in front of Burnham Park, on a street between Petron station, and this old brown building with Ukay ukay’s in it. It’s the next street right after the pedestrian lane going to Burnham. We then took a ride on a jeepney going to PMA, The fee for the jeepney is 15 pesos, You’ll pass by the Luwakan airport, and about 15 minutes from there is the Philippine Military Academy.

Things to do Baguio

Going inside PMA, you actually need to have a ride. Its pretty huge, you wont be able to roam around it on foot. There are jeeps going in and out of the area, and we waited for one to come. Standard fare of 7 pesos is the fee for getting in.

We were dropped off by the jeepney on its pitstop inside PMA. Inside are beautiful landscaped plants, and flowers. There were no military students when we came, as just the day before, it was the students graduation.

We also thought of shopping for souvenirs near a compound in the area, but found nothing worth buying, except for this cute dog!

The dog that we played with in PMA. I forgot his name. Lets just call him Daug :P

We played with him for about 30 minutes and then decided to went back, there are jeepneys passing by the street going to the gate. Fee is 7 pesos.
