Our package with Mang Larry was a tour of the caves: Wonderful cave, Enchanted cave, Cindy’s cave, and a few other caves he offered to take us, but we didn’t took. We have seen too many caves that day, we we’re caved-out. :P White beach, the lighthouse, and the Taclobo hatchery was also on our planned trip.

The caves in Bolinao, are already developed, which is sad because they placed stone seats, and other designs in the caves, which overpowered it’s natural look.

The Lighthouse in Bolinao

The lighthouse was also one of the best parts of Bolinao. You’ll be able to see china sea from the top. The lighthouse itself is not open for public though, it’s locked.

Giant Clams or Taclobo

The Taclobo’s or Giant clams of Bolinao was one of the highlights of the trip. Though we didn’t get the chance to see a real huge giant clam. We were still able to see baby giant clams, which could be an adult giant clam soon, so that’s the closest we can get.  The real giant clams are cultivated in the ocean, so we weren’t able to see them.

Also seen on the marine institute of UP are cultivated seaweeds, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins. We even held sea urchins for photo purposes. :D
