Our first ever wild water rafting experience was June last year. We paid 2000 pesos each for the activity, which includes an entrance to Davao’s crocodile park.

What to See – Tourist Spots in Davao

Davao crocodile park, as the name denotes, is home to a few crocodiles that were caught in the Mindanao area. As part of their park slash zoo. Davao crocodile park cultivate crocodiles themselves. They have a hatchery or nursery inside where they take care of the baby crocodiles. Only authorized people are allowed in at the nursery, but luckily for us we got to hold one of the baby crocodiles.

Of course, if they have babies, they have the parents. Inside the park, you’ll find the biggest and oldest crocodile inside Davao Crocodile Park: ‘Pangil‘. Pangil as I remember is 10 feet long, though ferocious Pangil is pretty boring cause he just lies on his belly all day.

Inside, you’ll also find breeding ponds for semi-sized crocodiles.

and many other animals. According to the fellows inside, best time to see the crocodiles is during feeding time. Unfortunately for us, we weren’t able to catch feeding time, you can check out their site to see the updated info on when feeding time is.
