Swimming: a must for travelers

As travelers, swimming has become a need, not just for survival purposes, but also for enjoyment. One thing that we never could enjoy much were swimming pools and seas, because we don’t know how to swim.

During tours, we have been wanting to play around the swimming pool, and not just swim around the edge like scared-y cats. Almost all of us in my tour group learned swimming only by ourselves. And about 75% of us don’t know how to thread.

And so finally, we have decided a month ago to take formal swimming lessons to satisfy our frustration with not being able to go far when swimming.

That is the actual order of best student in the class :P

Today was kathangisipers graduation day on our 5-week long, 2-hour each week, 10-sessions lesson on our swimming lesson. We all have learned free style swimming, breast stroke and threading. We even had free diving lessons as part of our basic swimming lesson package from our instructor.

Next week we’ll still be joining two of our classmates who weren’t able to complete the 10-sessions tutorial yet. :)

With this new skill on hand, kathangisipers are ready to tour again! :D

If you want contact numbers, location and price info on the swimming lesson. (We got our instructor 500 pesos cheaper than the famous swimming lesson school here in the Philippines.)

Please leave a comment on this post. And we’ll reply back at ya!

Yes I think okay naman sila, they’d teach you the basics of swimming..free style, breast stroke. Actually pinasama na lng namin yung threading, since isa din yun sa mga gusto naming matutunan.
