I never go to Davao yet but I’m sked this coming March 10-14 since my cousin is working there, dun kasi sya naka-destino ngayon, anyway kung nasa Davao City proper ka lang, My Hotel is the newest yet the cheapest hotel there, the place is really good daw at bago pa facilities, I think late 2008 or early 2009 lang sya nag-launch. Kung sa paligid ligid ka naman ng Davao, mas cheaper ang accommodation, mas okay kung madami kayo and walk in, Sa Samal ganun din, hindi pa naman peak season, kung may busget syempre the best Pearl Farm, then other not as expensive as Pearl Farm are Paradise Resort Davao, Bluejaz Resort Davao, then cheaper naman like Fernandez resort, check this site http://www.samalbeaches.com.
Sabi ng cousin ko sa part pa lang daw ng Mt. Apo marami ng activities na pwedeng gawin, maybe you can try it too, and of course the wild water rafting, croco farm, zipline, eagle sanctuary.
