We arrived in Hongkong on day 3 of our 6-days tour, but we only started the actual tour the next day. Day 3 was dedicated for shopping.
How to go there
On Day 4, we only planned to visit the Peak. We didn’t have free breakfast on our hotel this time. Fortunately, a Mc Donald’s is just a few steps away from our hotel. We ate the regular breakfast there, which is pancakes and soup.
After our hearty breakfast, we headed off to North Point MTR station, which is across the street from our hotel.
MTR Directions
From North Point station, we took the MTR station going to ‘Central Station’. There are numerous exits in central station, labeled by alphabet letters. It usually points to a tourist spot. I can’t remember our exact exit, so just follow the directions in the station.

MTR Map
Our fourth day was Monday, Jeff and I got to experience the weekday routine of the locals. People there are super busy and fast. I love it
No annoying people blocks the escalators, no one is inconsiderate, the escalators are super fast, the people are super fast, and of course the facilities are simply high-end.
When we got there, Jeff and I saw this street sign pointing to where The Peak is, we mistook one street and ended up to where the Court of appeals and Saint John’s cathedral is, our first stroke of luck.
Former French Mission Building – Court of Final Appeal in Hongkong
Jeff and I quickly took pictures there. I have no idea what this building is. Jeff prepared our Hongkong trip itinerary, while I added some stuff. Apparently this used to be the former french mission building, which is now turned into Hongkong’s court of appeals office.
Saint John’s Cathedral
Just on the other side of the Court is Saint John’s Cathedral. It was being repaired at the time we went there so I wasn’t able to take pictures of it. Luckily, we passed by another street from there, which has the back view of the church.
