How to go there
From our hotel in Mactan Island, we commuted to get to Basilica del Sto Nino. From there, we walked to Fort San Pedro which is just a block away from the church.
What to See
If Cebu has a sort-of Quiapo church version, they also have the intramuros version, through Fort San Pedro. These places are different in looks though. Again, it’s very much like Manila.
If you have time to spare, yes visit this place, but otherwise, scratch this from your itinerary. It’s not much of interest, and going there is a bit scary. We passed by this mini-park going there, and there were tons of guys and thug-looking people hanging there. But once you get in the actual Fort San Pedro, it’s quite secure as there’s an entrance fee getting in.
