parklane

After a day of staying at Seaview Pension, Jeff and I decided to transfer to a hotel in the city, closer to the malls and other spots are. We asked a taxi driver on his recommendation for a good, cheap hotel to stay in the city. He brought us to Parklane hotel, which is not quite cheap at all, but fortunately for us, they had a promo rate the day we came, and our actual hotel expense became P2800 from it's regular 4k price. The hotel is just walking distance from Ayala mall, and a few

cnt-lechon

After our city tour at Cebu, it was now time to grab some dinner at CnT's restaurant, home of Cebu's famous lechon (roasted pig). On February 28, 2010. Second day of our visit to the Panagbenga festival. Jeff and I were able to catch the float parade on the streets. The event started at 8 am, but by 9, the good spots were already taken, while some people started getting on parked cars, and vans so they can get a peek of the parade. We eventually found a good elevated spot, and thanks to Jeff's 20x zoom camera, we we're able to identify whoever was on the floats, which included celebrities like Jenny Miller, Karylle

street-dance

After several visits to Baguio. This year's Panagbenga Festival would be my first ever experience of the event. It's a month long activity that started last February 1 and will continue until March 7. There are special events daily for the duration of the festival, but me, my boyfriend and three other friends went there for the float parade and street dance. Instead of watching the street performance from the streets, we went straight to Baguio athletic bowl, where the street dancers
