After our city tour at Cebu, it was now time to grab some dinner at CnT’s restaurant, home of Cebu’s famous lechon (roasted pig).
How to go there
From SM Cebu, exit at Mcdo, accross the street is where you’ll find CnT’s restaurant.
What to see
Cebu’s lechon was dubbed as the ‘best pig in the world’ by international chef Anthony Bourdain. We definitely had to add CnT’s lechon as one of the must-try food we have to taste when we get to Cebu.
From what I’ve heard, you dont need a sauce for this lechon, because the pig is injected with the sauce prior to roasting. That’s why this pig is so tasty and juicy. Though for us, it tasted like a regular lechon. In fairness though, we came there at closing time, and they we’re almost out of roasted pig to sell.
Disclaimer: While creating our itinerary to Cebu, I’ve stumbled upon several sites saying we should try CnT’s lechon, that it was dubbed by Anthony Bourdein as the best pig. Anthony was referring to the entirety of Cebu, as the best pig in the world. not CnT itself.
Fees and Fares of this tour
- Lechon – 320 per kilo

hmmmm.. i think Anthony was referring to another equally famous lechon ( Zu….n”)
Anthony Bourdain was referring to zubuchon…not CNT
oh, you must come back and try Zubuchon!
