Philippine Airlines PAL promo fare for June 3, 2010 only


Philippine Airlines is joining the Philippine Independence celebration fever with a one-day-only seat sale to selected destinations that have
historical links to our national and modern-day heroes.
For June 3 rd , the featured destination is Singapore, where Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo was exiled in 1898 after leading Filipino opposition to Spanish colonial rule.
The $152 round trip, economy fare to Singapore is available only today (June 3) at all PAL ticket offices, PAL website and accredited travel
agents. The fare is inclusive of surcharges but excludes government taxes and ticketing service fee. Travel period is from June 15 to September 30. Seats are limited.
Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, the first Philippine President, met with US Consuls E. Spencer Pratt and Rounville Wildman in Singapore between
April 22 to 25, 1898 and agreed to be transported from Singapore to the Philippines via Hong Kong to rally Filipinos against Spanish colonial rule. Aguinaldo proclaimed Philippine independence on June 12, 1898.
