Prelude: the Preparation

Last November 2009, we were able to book a MNL-PVG flight for 4 for only P905/pax. Since then, I was so excited since climbing the Great Wall is one of my biggest dreams. Months passed, Xty and I organized the best itinerary possible. We came up with this:

Day 1: Night flight to Shanghai
Day 2: Buy train tickets to Xi’an, tour Shanghai
Day 3: Half-day tour in Shanghai, travel to Xi’an at night
Day 4: Buy train tickets to Beijing, tour Xi’an, particularly the terracotta warriors. Travel to Beijing at night
Day 5: Arrive at Beijing in the morning, buy train tickets to Shanghai. Tour Beijing
Day 6: Great Wall + Ming Tombs tour, free night
Day 7: Beijing tour
Day 8: Free day/ shopping, travel to Shanghai at night
Day 9: Arrive at Shanghai, day-tour of Hangzhou via train
Day 10: flight back to Manila early in the morning

      hi czar,

we processed our visa via Uni-Orient travel in Makati. their contact number is +638189585, website is uni-orient.com. we paid P1700 for the visa + their service. it took about 1wk to get the visa. I’m not sure if the requirements have changed, you may inquire them about it. From what I remember, you’ll need:
      - bank certificate
      - nbi clearance
      - COE
      - picture (1×1)

      enjoy your trip!
