Today was Jeff’s birthday. Been thinking of strolling at Greenbelt and just try any restaurant there. Luckily a friend stumbled on little tokyo at Makati. We couldnt get a clear information on the food’s price range at the place, so I thought, hey it’s Jeff’s bday anyways. Splurge we shall!
How to go there
Little Tokyo is located beside Makati Cinema Square, in front of a hotel. The entrance is a small alley with a red arch in front. There are 2 alley ways to get in, you wont miss it
What to See
There are several restaurants in Little Tokyo, in which all has tables residing outside of the restaurant. It was a dinner date, so I’d figure dining outside would be great. Alternatively, I’ve seen some restaurants having private rooms as the dining area. It’s not private-private, there are tables per room and windows where you can peek outside. Actually, Bea Alonzo came by the night we went there, with a bunch of people, I guess they opted for the private dining room.
Aside from your celebrity crowd, the place is frequented by Japanese, locals and foreigners.
We picked Nodasho restaurant to dine-in. Seating at the outside table, just in the center of everything. As a starter, we got the sushi platter, which made me full instantly, but there’s an Okonomiyaki(pizza-like) and Tonteki Teppanyaki waiting for us.
Price Range
Food ranges from 200 to 500, depending on ingredients. Local ingredients (sea food, beef) are much cheaper.
Birthday boy here and I enjoyed the food. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jeff!
