If you're going to visit Cebu, of course you have to take home their famous dried danggit as pasalubong.
usually comes in different variants - they have the boneless danggit, which costs more than the regular ones. You can also choose between salted, and unsalted. In our case we got the boneless salted ones.
Where to buy
If you want to get these pasalubong at a reasonable price, it's best to go to Taboan Market in Cebu. There are lots of dried sea foods sellers in this area, you can haggl

Coming to Cebu, one of the food / resto we wanted to check out was Casa Verde, somewhere near the capitol area. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find it there. Luckily though, we find another branch of this restaurant at Ayala mall instead.
Supposedly, the original branch is spanish-inspired but the one in Ayala mall had an American-inspired ambiance.
There were lots of American pop-culture decorations inside the restaurant, and a few other miniature and toys.

After a day of staying at Seaview Pension, Jeff and I decided to transfer to a hotel in the city, closer to the malls and other spots are.
We asked a taxi driver on his recommendation for a good, cheap hotel to stay in the city. He brought us to Parklane hotel, which is not quite cheap at all, but fortunately for us, they had a promo rate the day we came, and our actual hotel expense became P2800 from it's regular 4k price.
The hotel is just walking distance from Ayala mall, and a few

After our city tour at Cebu, it was now time to grab some dinner at CnT's restaurant, home of Cebu's famous lechon (roasted pig).
How to go there
From SM Cebu, exit at Mcdo, accross the street is where you'll find CnT's restaurant.
What to see
Cebu's lechon was dubbed as the 'best pig in the world' by international chef Anthony Bourdain. We definitely had to add CnT's lechon as one of the must-try food we have to taste when we get to Cebu.
From what I've heard, you dont need a sauce

How to go there
Magellan's cross is located beside the church of Basilica del sto nino. Passed the street in front of the church, to the right is where it's located.
What to See
Preparing for our itinerary, I was getting confused with Magellan's cross and Magellan's Shrine. The two are actually different places. I was warned by people who went their that the place smells like pee, but luckily my super smell didn't catch that foul odor.

How to go there
From our hotel in Mactan Island, we commuted to get to Basilica del Sto Nino. From there, we walked to Fort San Pedro which is just a block away from the church.
What to See
If Cebu has a sort-of Quiapo church version, they also have the intramuros version, through Fort San Pedro. These places are different in looks though. Again, it's very much like Manila.

After Bohol, We took SuperCat's 10:30 am trip going back to Cebu.
We had no plan on where to stay there, but we definitely want somewhere near Cebu Beach Club since we'll be doing the underwater sea walk in that resort. We asked our taxi driver if he could recommend us some resorts near there that are cheap, but he pretty much brought us to all the hotels in Cebu that are expensive.
After a few more searches, a local recommended us the newly built Hotel Seaview Pension house.
