Kathangisip.com is a group blog that focuses on art, culture and travel, thus the name kathangisip, a Filipino word meaning imagination.

With the name, kathangisip on mind, how come travel is part of the word ‘imagination‘. The reason why I created kathangisip was because I like making stuff. Ofcourse when you make stuff, it all begins with an idea, an imagination.  And how the heck did travel become part of the concept of kathangisip? Well during our trips, we all have those ‘mentos’ moment where we always put to use our creativity. And our budgeting skills is a part of that; during travel, it is our sole secret in enjoying the trip without having to worry if we’ll ran out of money, with the sacrifice of food and sweat, nothing important actually. hehe.

Japanesecake is a travel, music and art enthusiast. She’s a java developer working on a big company at Taguig Philippines. Her travel portfolio includes typhoons, brownouts, three hour road block going back to Manila,  rainy beach outings, flu in Camiguin, diarrhea in Davao, Headache in Dumaguete and Ghost stories in Ilocos.

Catnap03 is a sports and travel enthusiast. She’s also a java developer at airline industry company in Ortigas, Philippines. Her travel portfolio includes several international trips. She loves travel so much, she doesn’t mind going back twice, or thrice to the same place. Her travel achievement includes touring with annoying people she could not believe she went with. She’s one of the main itinerary planner of all our trips.

A name excessively referenced on this blog.  I figured I should include him here, cause I pretty much mention his name every single post. And yeah, ‘Jeff’ is not a pseudonym. He doesn’t have death threats like I do, so it’s okay that I use his real name, and the fact that a regular person knows about 20 other Jeff’s in their life, makes it hard for him to get tracked.
