My first airplane ride was just last August 2007. Along with my boyfriend Jeff, we had booked a flight to Ilocos after learning that CP(an airline name)have promo fares. So our flight was Wednesday and prior to that date, there was a drought in the Philippines as it haven't rained in weeks and the water level here is slowly depleting. Everybody prayed for rain then. The catholic church even called upon it's members to pray for rain, while I was the lone selfish person asking not to rain, jus

While travelling, there are circumstances that we cannot control no matter how much we prepare and anticipate all the possible outcomes. In such cases, one should be creative enough for possible solutions. Luck is very helpful too. Just hope that you have lots of it. ;)
We started our day early. I think our call time was 6am. Our planned itinerary was to tour Libuton cave and if there’s enough time, tour a Dipolog waterfall. We should be back by 4pm to catch a ferry going to Dumaguete.

One spice of travelling is misadventures. It makes an ordinary travel so wonderful but sometimes so scary. Some time last 2006, a friend and I decided to have a one week tour of Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. At that time, we thought one week is long enough to experience touring some of their key cities. We decided to make Singapore our hub, so we booked a roundtrip flight of MNL-SIN. Later on, Tiger Airways posted a seat sale of SIN-KVB so we booked a one-way flight

One thing I get better every time we tour is packing. I always eliminate one thing I brought after the previous tour, thus saving lots of space in my bag for other important stuff like pasalubongs and souvenirs. :)

One of our friend, (lets call her L) 'L's most hated part during our tours was riding ferries. She easily gets sick and dizzy with these rides. Unfortunately for her, our February trip was full of ferry rides.
Ferries are the only transportation available for islands in the Philippines that aren't connected by bridges yet. It's not always fun to ride Ferries, due to violent waves disturbing the seas at times.

How to go there
This post is part of our trip in Macau. For the complete itinerary, check out this link here: Macau itinerary
Just 10 min walk from Moorish Baracks, you'll be able to reach Lilau square. There are street signs on each tourist spot, pointing to the other tourist spot in the area, you'll never get lost. You wont even get to use your map. hehe

Getting There - How to go to Hundred Islands
