loboc-church

Our next destination after the tarsiers was the man-made forest of Bilar. On our way there, we passed by Loboc church which is just beside the area where the 'Loboc river cruise' boats are. How to go there My boyfriend and I hired a rent-a-van service to tour us around Bohol. What to See We arrived in Bohol at 2:30 pm, so we weren't able to catch the last trip of the river cruise which is at 1:30 pm. We simply took pictures since we wont be experiencing it that day. How to go there The Philippine Tarsier foundation offers viewing of the tarsier in their natural habitat at the The Philippine Tarsier Foundation. But in our case, we hired a rent-a-van service to tour us in Bohol. Kuya Lito (our driver) brought us to a viewing area owned by a local breeder of tarsiers in Bohol, located near the Loboc river cruise. I heard that there's also a viewing area

Our second destination for the day is the second oldest church in the Philippines, and oldest church in Bohol: Baclayon church. How to go there Jeff and I took a rent-a-van to tour Bohol's tourist spots. What to see According to Kuya Lito (Our tour guide/driver) Baclayon was supposedly the oldest church in the Philippines but San Agustin won that title after some historians disagreed with that claim. The claim is, the first Spanish settlers in the country was in Bohol therefore the fir

My most recent travel to date was at the Visayan provinces of Bohol and Cebu. Jeff booked our flight to Cebu for 6 days not knowing that there isn't much to do there, so I decided to add in Bohol for our tour which is just 2 1/2 hours away from Cebu through a ferry. How to go there Our plan was to take the ferry from Cebu pier to Tagbilaran pier to get to Bohol. We wanted to take the 12:30pm schedule of SuperCat Fast Ferries. We arrived at Cebu's Mactan Island airport at 11:30 am, which

Next stop, the hot and cold springs of Forest camp. :) How to go there From our hotel: Grand Pensionne Plaza, we went to the jeepney terminal going to the town of Valencia. From Valencia, we took a tricycle to take us to Forest camp. Alternatively, there are habal-habals available in the area. Going back to Dumaguete, we rode a tricycle instead of a jeep because we weren't able to catch the last trip going back to Dumaguete. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="3
